Library Support of Online Programs of Legal Education

This session will explore the ways in which three different academic law libraries have responded to the needs of the students and faculty involved in bringing legal education and the law school experience to a largely online community of students.  Speakers will discuss considerations for developing a collection for users who may not be able to access the physical library, methods and tools for providing virtual reference services, creating parity between the residential and online programs and ideas for engaging with a virtual user base.  Audience members will learn some of the challenges and solutions around supporting an online program and adapting service models to the needs of a largely online user.
