Times have changed, but using free tools to keep small teams functioning well delivering high quality service to their customers is timeless.
This session will cover the challenges of capturing, workflowing, and documenting tasks, projects, incidents, and requests in the transparent workgroup space provided by Asana. We'll cover the use of the free version (with a couple of tweaks) through an anecdotal review of Pepperdine Caruso School of Law's own IS Department processes.
Some key notes for your consideration:
We'll consider management styles, specifically heirarchies vs networks, and how Asana promotes both personal vs departmental accountability. Then we'll review client triage and CRM on the cheap. Finally, we wrap up with reporting and the joys and pains of metadata.
